This place is pretty big lol I have never been to a Zippy's before so I thought the vibe was going to be like a mom and pop restaurant or something similar to L&L, but I was wrong. When you enter you either go to the take-out side or you can go to the hostess side to get seated, which was the one we chose for that day. We got seated right away and were given the menu. Their menu has a lot of item listed, that I was a little overwhelmed. I ended up getting one of their popular item which was the Zip Pac and my hubby got something (forgot the name) that has some kind of teriyaki flavor. For my Zip Pac, it came with a piece of golden fried chicken, a breaded white flaky hoki fish filet, a tender slice of teriyaki marinated beef, and Spam®, on a bed of rice topped with classic Japanese takuan pickled radish and furikake seasoning. The plate itself had a lot of rice plus the proteins it came with. I would say, the food was good, but it could be better. I really love rice and everything that came with this plate as it reminded me of my childhood Filipino breakfast but, it was kind of dry. There wasn't really any sauces that they offered that would've matched what I was having. If this plate came with a sauce that customers can choose from, I would say this meal would've been a 10/10. But due to the dryness, I think I'll give it an "okay" plate. Service at Zippy's is attentive without being intrusive. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and provides excellent recommendations, contributing to a seamless dining experience.

Very easy location to find but if you're staying on the strip, you will need to Uber but totally worth the trip. The location is very easy to navigate as they have delivery pick up, to go pick up, counter ordering, and full service by a waiter! The place is very clean and feels great inside and everyone is very friendly. For the food, we ordered the Korean fried chicken which is a must have and 10 out of 10! The flavoring and overall crispness of the chicken is top notch and the best! We also got the chicken Katsu which has great crust and good portions. A great option for kids! I do highly suggest if you go for the daily specials to get there early because they run out quickly. We went in the afternoon and they were out. Highly recommend!!!

We finally made it to Zippy's Las Vegas! Stopped in for breakfast before hitting the road for some local tastes from home and our tummies were so grateful! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiles and felt the aloha we know and miss. Our server provided excellent service and was very attentive to our needs. Our orders came out quickly and everything looked and tasted exactly as expected. Know in advance that only regular size portions are available (sorry no mini plates). The restaurant, display cases, restrooms and parking lot are all neat and clean! Despite it being fairly early there were a few others in the dining room so it was still quiet. We're so glad we finally made it and will be back again! If you're looking for a taste from home or just curious about Hawaiian food, go check them out!

The original is in Honolulu, Hawaii where my parents would go for date nights over 50 years ago! Once I said "Zippy's" my parents ears perked up and our trip down memory lane began. Walking through the doors seeing all the baked goods welcoming you like a Hawaiian lei greeting after a flight from the mainland. The family tried the Dobash cake, long johns, malasadas, mochizadas, coconut and apple napple (napoleon or turnovers). My winning favorite long johns! Luv the custard. Runner up coconut napple. The napple or turnover was one of the best I've ever had. Flakey like you've never tasted. Then the dobash cake light and spongy with a decedent chocolate. So good! Service was phenomenal! We felt right at home with the aloha spirit. The food was good! Albeit nothing beats the original tastes of home, this sure did bring home much closer than a long plane ride away. Saimin hit the spot! You will need to add some of that sweet aloha gold soy sauce to meld the flavors and maybe that spicy mustard mixed in if you're looking for a kick. Day 2 we tried the Portuguese soup, grilled cornbread, meat lovers breakfast, zip pack and sweet & sour spare ribs. Who can resist Zippy's when it's right down the street. We couldn't get enough. Bright and spacious atmosphere. Loved seeing all the island locals come out to support this business. Ohana vibes walking through these doors. A must stop when you need a piece of Hawaii in Vegas.
